PlayStation 5: News from Sony’s next-gen game showcase

It was an hour-long showcase, one that promised to detail “the future of gaming,” Sony revealed the most important parts of its next-generation console — not only did they showcase the PS5 hardware, but the games that will run on it. That includes titles from several first-party Sony studios, like new Spider-Man and Gran Turismo games, as well as games from big-name third-party developers.

The surprise during the event was that we got a closer look at the DualSense controller and the actual console itself, which had yet to be revealed to the public. It has white sides, with a glossy, curved center.

Also, there was some great news which is that there will be two versions of the console, one being a slightly slimmer all-digital version with no disc drive. On top of that, we also got a good look at some accessories coming soon. One of the biggest missing pieces still is the price.
