Is it Worth it to buy the Apple Watch Series 6 now or just wait for the Series 7?

As you may know, we are getting closer to the release date of the next Series 7 Apple Watch, which by now has a lot of leaks and rumours surrounding it.

If perhaps you're considering buying a Series 6 right now, there is an S6 chip, the battery life on the Series 6 is fantastic. It lasts all day and you have to charge it at night, that's if you won't be using the sleep tracker.

There is the new always-on altimeter which tracks your elevation and factors it into your fitness metrics even if you did not start a workout. There is more which is the always-on display which is now 2.5x brighter when you're outdoors.

This is very impressive given that the Series 6 battery is excellent which is also 20% faster at charging. So if you use the sleep tracker and charge your Apple Watch when you wake up for about thirty minutes you will be good to go.

When it then comes to the design, that's where you should at least consider waiting for the Series 7. There are rumours that Series 7 will have a new design. There is more, it is reported that Series 7 will feature blood glucose monitoring via an optical sensor.

So there is more which is worth waiting for the Series 7. However, if you have deep pockets you can buy the Series 6 and then wait for the Series 7 and upgrade. In my own opinion, I think it's worth it to wait for the Series 7
