Google Search App gets Dark Mode at Last

The Google mobile app is getting a dark mode. This will roll out for Android and iOS users gaining the option to enable the feature by the end of the week. After the update, the app will automatically use whatever theme the user is using on the operating system. This is already set to if you use Android or iOS 13. Google says the feature is started to roll out yesterday, but it won’t be globally available until later this week. You can get the news from Google here

You’ll also be able to manually switch between light and dark mode by heading straight to the app’s settings, this is for iOS 12 users. Google will offer the option to change it with an in-app toggle as the operating system lacks a system-wide dark theme. A lot of apps have been slowly rolling out dark mode. Some examples include WhatsApp , Facebook, Gmail, Google Calendar for Android and some for iOS. On the other hand some apps are yet to get the dark mode theme like Google Maps.
