Apple Announces a Digital-Only Event Set for September 15 2020

Today Apple announced that it will be holding a special event on Tuesday the 15th of September at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. This was announced on its events page

As for the WWDC event, Apple's fall event appears to be a digital-only gathering which won't have members of the media invited to attend in person, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event is most likely to be similar to the WWDC which will be pre-recorded with segments for each new product that's expected to be announced. Most likely we are not going to see the announcement of the iPhone 12 in September but rather in October.

Word is that Apple's September 15 event is said to be focused on the release of the new Apple Watch and the iPad. Also, the release of iOS 14 and watchOS 7 for Apple Watch users are expected.
